First Day

This is my favorite time of year. I never saw anything like this growing up in San Diego. This is what makes life in Utah so unbelievably and amazingly beautiful.

For me, time stops. The nights get longer and cooler, and the warmth of the sun is just the perfect accent to an afternoon spent sitting under the last bits of shade from a tree, before winter makes the world fall asleep.
