Earlier that evening, they had gone for a walk around a small zoo-ish park in Logan, Utah. This was their 6th official day of dating, although it wasn't set in stone that they were even an item. As they walked around the park the girl heard a prompting, saying to marry that boy next to her, and marry him now. She was a little freaked but decided to tell him anyway. He completed her sentence before she had a chance to say everything.
On that bed, in her room, they decided to follow what the Voice told them to do.
