In all honesty...

I don't know if I am going to make it this semester. I'm taking two absolutely crucial classes, which wasn't on my original class order checklist. I'm feeling so overwhelmed and just want to roll into a ball and hide under the bed. I know I've been incessant in my complaining about Chemistry, but it really is the beginning and end of my life, and it's not good. Working full-time and taking Chem, Math, and (what I thought was going to be a slightly easier class) Spanish this semester is absolutely running me into the ground. I get off work Monday afternoons and have enough time to run home, see my family (If Rachel's not at Activity Days) for about an hour before needing to run off to class for 2.5 hours. Tuesdays I have enough time to get home from work and get something lousy thrown together for dinner before having to run off for a 2-hour Chem class. Same thing with Thursdays, except it's dropping Rach off at piano before heading over to Chem. Spanish is Sat. mornings for 3 hours. Tack onto that the homework and study time I don't really have, as well as paying attention to a needy 'tween (Good hell I cannot believe I have one of those), a husband whom I don't want to think I've lost interest in, housework, and the minimal "me" time. Yeah, right. I've heard that Anatomy and Microbiology are going to the hardest classes I'll take. If that's the case, then get me a gun so I can shoot myself in the foot and have a good excuse to just quit right now. I sobbed on the phone last week to my mom. I really, truly am doubting myself and the feasibility to get through this.

Organic Chemistry is the reason I am not an RN today...
Nah, I probably would have changed majors anyway. But it is hard stuff! Hang in there, you will be able to do it! And you are amazing for being able to balance all the things in your life that you do!
